I want to write a big long diatribe about how much I want Obama to win the election tomorrow. But I don’t have the energy to do it tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
This election means so much to me. To my friends. To my family. More than I can put into words right now.
So I just ask you to vote. I can’t even say that I don’t care whom you vote for. Because I do. I would like you to vote for Obama. But if you choose not to, that’s fine. We can still be friends.
For women. For gays. For the economy. For the country. For education. For unions. For healthcare. For children. For the planet. For progress.
For the future. Think forward.
Vote. But know who and what you are voting for. If the good guy doesn’t win, it’s going to get much worse before it ever considers getting better. Know what you’re doing. Know what you stand for.
I stand for the future. I stand with Obama.
We don’t have to agree.
If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.
Stand up. Be heard.
It’s not a privilege.
It’s your right.
